Investigators are trying to identify a group of young people who attacked a woman last month in Center City.
The beating occurred just before 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at 15th and Chestnut streets, according to authorities. Police on Tuesday released surveillance video and images of the eight suspects.
A 33-year-old woman was knocked to the ground, and the group continued punching and kicking her, leaving her unconscious, police said. She was hospitalized with injuries to her head, face and body, investigators said.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact the PPD’s Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093/3094; call or text 215-686-8477; or submit a tip online at www.phillypolice.com/forms/submit-a-tip.
