Villanova won last year’s NCAA national basketball championship and held a parade down Lancaster Avenue, and another downMarket Street.
The first parade was impromptu, an outburst of joy on campus as thousands celebrated on Villanova’s main drag. The second was well-planned and ended with speeches in front of City Hall.
The Wildcats play some of their games at The Pavilion on campus, and some in the Wells Fargo Center in South Philly.
