A man was hospitalized in “extremely critical condition” following a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in Port Richmond, police said.
The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing Lehigh Avenue on the 2400 block at around 8:45 p.m. when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan, investigators said. Medics took him to Temple University Hospital. Authorities said Wednesday that they do not know his age.
Police said the driver, a man, was in a car bearing a Pennsylvania temporary license plate, with the tag number 4183108.
