Witchcraft and Wizardry fans across Greater Philadelphia, the ultimate unauthorized Harry Potter experience is set to a laugh-filled nostalgic evening to the City of Brotherly Love after several successful North American tours and over 1,000 performances.

The spellbinding show—or bewitching, whichever pun you prefer—will enchant crowds at Penn Live Arts across 20 holiday season performances between Thursday, Dec. 26, and Sunday, Jan. 5.

Called “gloriously irreverent” by Time Out London, Potted Potter is a critically acclaimed parody rendition of all seven Harry Potter books in 70 hilarious minutes that has enthralled witches, wizards, and even muggles across North America.

The show was created by two-time Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner and seen by over one million Potter fans around the world. Originating as a five-minute street show recap of the first five books in 2005, Clarkson and Turner continued to develop the show, growing it into a half-hour parody of the first six books the following year. As time continued on, the show grew more and more before arriving in Toronto for its North American debut in 2012.

Following Harry’s story from his first to final victory over “he who shall not be named” and the many misadventures of the wizarding world’s chosen one and his friends Ron and Hermoine in between, Potted Potter provides a magical experience, no matter your familiarity with the lore.

Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or even Slytherin, you’ll love this synopsized spoof covering your favorite characters from Hogwarts. Even if you’re not a Potterhead, and maybe you don’t know that it’s Levi-O-sa, not Levio-sa, you’ll still enjoy the fabulously funny show, and it could even be the introduction to a brand new passion.
