Calling all animal lovers and protectors of pets — you are invited to the third annual Pours for PAWS fundraiser.

Hosted and organized by the Young Friends of PAWS, Pours for PAWS is an annual benefit that supports the lifesaving work of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), which includes supporting rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, foster programs, and much more.

After a successful first two years, Pours for PAWS is back will take place at Positano Coast, 212 Walnut St., on Wednesday, June 25. The fundraiser will feature a three-hour open bar, vegetarian and vegan food, music by DJ Byrd, a silent auction and more.

“Young Friends of PAWS is thrilled for the return of our signature event, Pours For PAWS,” says Gina Salvatore, co-chair of Young Friends of PAWS. “Thanks to the generosity of Positano Coast and our sponsors, we can’t wait to welcome animal lovers from across the Philadelphia region for an evening of delicious food, refreshing beverages, and fun, all in the name of supporting PAWS’ lifesaving mission.”

PAWS is Philadelphia’s largest animal rescue partner and provider of affordable veterinary care. Each year, PAWS saves thousands of animals throughout the Philadelphia area. Since its inaugural celebration in 2023, Pours for PAWS has raised over $40,000 to support PAWS’ mission of making Philadelphia a city where every savable pet is guaranteed a home.

Pours for PAWS is a 21+ event. Tickets cost $90 in advance and $95 at the door. Tickets for Young Friends of PAWS members are $75, and non-drinkers can purchase tickets for $50.
