Power Women – J. Lindsay Johnston, President, POWER of Professional Women

Join us for a talk with J. Lindsay Johnston, president of POWER of Professional Women, a nonprofit forum based in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Ms. Johnston shared what she thinks are the most significant barriers to female leadership: assumptions, stereotypes, and the lack of public policy support for mothers. She encourages people to stop making assumptions about women’s capabilities and limits, and stresses that childcare must become more accessible and affordable.
