Prince Albert of Monaco visited Philadelphia last week, the hometown of his late mother, actress Grace Kelly. While in town, he appeared at a number of events, including The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Gala Dinner, held Oct. 27, at Philadelphia’s Masonic Temple. Also in attendance were luminaries Ambassador Geraldine Byrne Nason, Grace Cavert and Senator Bill Nelson and actor George Hamilton.

Prince Albert also participated in a tree planting ceremony to mark a $130,000 grant that’s been given toward the Philly Tree Plan. On Thursday night, he stopped by the Happy Rooster with his cousin John B Kelly, and also visited his mother’s former home in East Falls, which he owns.
