Prince Albert II of Monaco on Tuesday dropped by to see the house on Henry Avenue that he recently purchased—the home where his mother Grace Kelley had lived.
The prince inspected the home for about an hour, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia. His mother, the Oscar-winning actress, grew up in the house and accepted a marriage proposal there from his father, Prince Rainier III.
Albert bought the property for $754,000 and hasn’t decided what to do with the Colonial-style house.
One option, according to news reports, is to use it as offices for the prince’s charitable foundation. It’s unlikely that the site will become a museum, sources said.
