A prison teacher has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly having a relationship with an inmate and becoming pregnant twice by him.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Chong-Hwa Chang, 42, of Delran, New Jersey, with sexual assault stemming from an ongoing relationship she had with an inmate at New Jersey State Prison in Trenton while she was a teacher there, NJ.com has reported. RELATED:Philly adopts federal standards for preventing prison sex assaults When authorities searched Chang’s home, they found a journal in which she admitted to having a relationship with an inmate and getting pregnant on two occasions, NBC reported. Officials also found sexually explicit photos during the search. The timeline surrounding her alleged relationship has not been established, NJ.com added, also stating that Chang has worked as a teacher for the Department of Corrections for the past nine years.
