Raise two glasses this weekend for Yelp Cocktail Week

As anyone who has ever needed to find a dry cleaner, Mexican restaurant with vegan options and a dog groomer in close proximity to both knows, Yelp.com is a useful little tool.

But this week, the local business review website is doing more than just talking the talk: Running through Sunday, Yelp Cocktails Week features half-price specialty drinks at 21 bars across the city.

That’s a lot of cocktails, but the deal lasts from opening to midnight, so you’ve got some time. Our recommendation for a balanced meal? A Basil Zinger at Knock (225 S. 12th St.) to cleanse the palate; a proper margarita at Kokopelli (1904 Chestnut St.); and then a chocolate whipped vodka shot at Locust Rendezvous (1415 Locust St.) for dessert.

Yelp Cocktails Week runs through Sunday. Visit www.yelp.com for a full list of participating venues.
