Rape again reported in middle of Kensington

KENSINGTON – Police are investigating yet another rape reported Monday night.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on the 2100 block of East Allegheny Avenue, authorities said. A woman in her 40s reported that she got into a truck with an unknown male, and after driving a short distance they got into a dispute and she was physically assaulted and raped.

The suspect fled in a white Ford F-150 truck with New Jersey tags, police said. He is described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s or early 40s, light complexion. Police have not ruled out a connection to a string of recent attacks in the area.
