New Regional Rail schedules will be going into effect on Sunday, April 16, due to Amtrak and SEPTA repair work.
Weekend riders on the Trenton, West Trenton, Chestnut Hill East and Chestnut Hill West lines will be most affected, though there will also be changes to the Fox Chase, Glenside Combined, Paoli/Thorndale and Wilmington/Newark lines.
SEPTA said rail service will remain at 75% of pre-pandemic weekday levels following the alterations.
On the Chestnut Hill East Line, all inbound trains to Center City will leave five to eight minutes earlier on the weekends, and all outbound trains will depart up to 17 minutes later. Both inbound and outbound weekend trains will come 17 minutes earlier on the Chestnut Hill West Line.
West Trenton trains will depart 17 to 19 minutes earlier on Saturdays and Sundays. On the Trenton Line, inbound trains will come up to 17 minutes earlier and outbound trains will leave around eight minutes earlier on the weekends.
The new schedules will not affect the Cynwyd, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown and Media/Wawa lines.
