Renault Winery launches Country Music Festival to celebrate July 4th

This weekend, Renault Winery will be celebrating the 4th of July over a two-day period with some fresh events and activations. The popular resort recently installed new festival grounds, and for the red white and blue holiday, the establishment will be utilizing the space for its 1st Annual Country Music Festival and a series of patriotic runs, followed by a fireworks display to cap it all off. 

On July 2 and 3, Philadelphians can catch live music, multiple stages, wine, food trucks, family fun and other surprises at the Festival with an impressive line-up of local and national talent. Those who head to the event can catch sets from the Scotty Testerman Trio, Brian Corcoran, Warren Montgomery Band, Parker Barrow Project, Jess Zimmerman Band, Lisa Bouchelle, Kenny Curcio and Garrett Shultz Band over the weekend.

As a release states, the Scotty Testerman Duo kicks off the Country Music Festival with a free small stage performance in the Champagne Patio Garden from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wine Tasting Room will be open with solo performances from Brian Corcoran from 4 to 7 p.m. Renault’s Festival Grounds then open at 5 p.m. with entertainment starting at 6 p.m. featuring Nashville natives Warren Montgomery, followed by Parker Barrow Project in a back-to-back show. 

Then on Sunday, The Jess Zimmerman Band will put on an intimate show in Renault’s Champagne Patio Garden from noon to 4 p.m. Lisa Bouchelle will then take over in the Wine Tasting Room from 4 to 7 p.m., while Pennsylvania’s own Garrett Shultz will headline the main Sunday night concert with the fireworks extravaganza to follow on the Festival Grounds. The festival space officially opens at 5 p.m. that night however with an opening set from local artist Kenny Curcio starting at 6:30 p.m. 

“Renault Winery can’t wait to celebrate our country’s birthday with a big two-day celebration,” said Renault Winery CEO/Founder Josh McCallen in a statement. “Our new festival grounds will be the focal point of the weekend with our new Renault Country Music Festival and tons of fun for the whole family. It’s a perfect weekend to make memories and enjoy this beautiful venue.”

The Country Music Festival weekend will also feature food trucks (think seafood, pizza and more), dance lessons, lawn games, axe throwing and DJ Dancemaur leading country line dances in between sets both nights on the Festival Grounds. There are also VIP options to look into to enjoy the musical event with VIP tents located on the Festival Grounds featuring seating for six, a bottle of your choice of Renault Champagne or wine, a bucket of cold bottled waters, a VIP tent attendant, and a meet and greet with the act of your choice. 

Those who walk around the winery can also find Renault’s summer sampler, with three champagne and/or wine tastings and a souvenir wine glass for only $25. Plus, music festival ticket holders (tickets are $10) will enjoy free parking before 8 p.m. both nights. 

Sunday, July 3 also holds the new Red, Wine and Blue Run, and the companion Red, Wine and Blue Kids Run, starting at 8:30 a.m. Aside from this theme run (which awards prizes for the most patriotic outfits), participants will also get a t-shirt with registration, and adults will receive a glass of wine and a souvenir wine glass.

The 5K course is a flat multi-surface road to the Egg Harbor City Lake and back to Renault Winery, and afterwards, the Tasting Room Bar will be open for after-run cocktails and treats. Participants can then can catch live country music beginning at Noon in the Champagne Patio Garden.

Finally, the celebrations will conclude with Renault Winery’s Independence Weekend Fireworks Spectacular on Sunday, July 3 at 9 p.m. The experience is free for those at the Music Festival, or $10 to reserve a spot to watch from your car in the parking lot (viewing areas open at 8 p.m.)
