REPORT: Eagles QB Jalen Hurts set to play against the Seahawks on Monday night

The Eagles have not failed when it has come to theatrics over the last several years.  With a very important game coming up against the Seahawks on Monday night, it looks like the Eagles won’t be without their fearless leader.

After reports came out that Jalen Hurts had fallen ill over the weekend, it looks like Hurts will play tonight against the Seahawks. There were initial reports stating that Jalen was feeling flu like symptoms but did not have the flu. Which could open up this game to becoming a part of history. Hint: Jordan Flu game.

You can breathe, Philadelphia. Hurts and the offense will look to get back on track against the Seattle Seahawks on their turf. With all of the drama surrounding the Eagles’ defense, it’s good to hear that something is going right for the Birds. Philly will look to get right after being blown out in back-to-back contests against their NFC foes.

With a win tonight, the Eagles will be keeping pace with the 49ers for the number one seed and they’ll have a game lead over the Cowboys in the NFC East with three games remaining. This may not be a must-win game for the Eagles but this is absolutely an important game for their standing in the playoffs.

The team can only go where their QB goes and right now they need Jalen to step up. Hurts has yet to have a dominant game this season which means that the rent is due. The Seattle defense isn’t an unbeatable unit but any team coach by Pete Carroll is sure to have some tricks up their sleeves after watching their opponents struggle.

Jalen Hurts and the offense need this game to find their rhythm and their identity. This team has been operating as a pass-first offense but that seems to be hindering more than ever. Hurts also has been holding onto the ball for way too long in hopes of a game-changing deep shot. It’s time to get back to the basics and operate like a functional unit.
