With Jim Mora, Jr. out of the hunt, the Eagles will interview Saints secondary coach Dennis Allen this weekend for their vacant defensive coordinator position.
The 38-year-old joined the Saints in 2006 as assistant defensive line coach and spent the last three as secondary coach.
“It’s a small league, and there aren’t many secrets,” Saints head coach Sean Payton told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “His reputation has grown, and the word has gotten around.”
