A New Jersey man was reportedly electrocuted and nearly drownedSaturday night in a Wildwood Crest motel swimming pool.
The man, identified as Greg Subiszak, 34, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, isin critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, 6ABC reported.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the Aztec Motel, 411 East Lavender Road, according to 6ABC.
A motel employee and a guest rescued the man from the bottom of the pool, police told NBC10. Subiszak was unconscious when he was pulled from the water.

Motel owner AdamoPipitone said the pool was inspected by an electrician three weeks ago, buthe suspects there may have been a short in a lamp post.He told 6ABC the pool will remain closed until the county health department clears it to reopen.
Police are still investigating the incident.
