Rittenhouse Row’s Holiday Fashion Crawl Returns

December is closing in and what’s that mean? Holiday shopping. The Rittenhouse Row’s annual Holiday Fashion Crawl will come back into play on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 12 to 3 p.m. Rittenhouse Row is an annual roving event that highlights the best festive fashion and Christmas cocktails in Rittenhouse. The event is free and open to the public.

Some of the participating stores include: Baril, Brooks Brothers, Govberg Jewelers, Ideal Image, Knit Wit,Lash Bash, NIÑO brand, Philadelphia Art Alliance, Shop Sixty Five, South Moon Under, The Shops at Liberty Place, Skirt, Continental Midtown, Lou Bird’s, Ocean Prime, Ranstead Room, Sbraga, Square 1682, Bar Volver, Zama, ellelauri and more.

Numerous retailers will host in store parties for the attendees. Cocktails from the best mixologists in Rittenhouse, special discounts, trunk shows, gifts with purchase and DJs will be provided at these parties.

Liz Rymar, the Designer and Creative Director of ellelauri, says: “We are really excited for the eventbecause there is a great energy that comes along with it. Holiday inspired cocktails, amazing sales and helping a wonderful charity – all while you shop local and support the Rittenhouse community. It doesn’t get much better then that.”

Ellelauri will be discounting their entire store 20% off, along with 60% off all sale items. There will be an entry to win a $200 gift card with every purchase, as well as a gift with every purchase. On the other hand, Skirt will be giving away $50 gift cards to all who attend the Fashion Crawl.

“Spend a day wandering the great shops and you can find something unique and special for everyone on your list. Then you can even treat yourself to an amazing meal and a cocktail. The fashion scene in Philadelphia is thriving and we are so excited to celebrate it in this fun way,” says Maureen Doron, the owner Skirt.

This year, Rittenhouse Row has partnered with PAWS, a non-profit organization that focuses on saving homeless or abandoned animals in Philadelphia. Representatives of PAWS will be walking around Rittenhouse Row with adoptable dogs to “Give a Home for the Holiday.” They will be stopping at select locations throughout the day.

Event maps will be available at Capital One on 1636 Walnut Street or can also bedownloaded from rittenhouserow.orgstarting the week of the crawl. When you pick up your map on the day of the crawl you willreceivefree samples of hot chocolate form Peet’s Coffee and you will be entered for a chance to win gift baskets with prizes that range from health, beauty or fitnessfrom members of Rittenhouse Row.

Ilana Waber, the Director of Client Service for Rittenhouse Row, concludes: “We created the Fashion Crawl as a way to get people in to our stores to do their holiday shopping, while experiencing the best in fashion and mixology in Rittenhouse. You really can’t go wrong with beauty, fashion, cocktails and puppies…And everyone is welcome!”
