Authorities are looking for a man who opened fire during a road rage altercation – leaving a teenage boy and a young woman hospitalized – Monday night in the Parkside section of West Philadelphia.

Officers responded just after 7 p.m. to the area of 42nd Street and Girard Avenue, police said, where they found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in his left arm. They took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition, according to the PPD.

The other victim, a 20-year-old woman, showed up at Lankenau Medical Center with a graze wound to her chest, authorities added.

Detectives released surveillance footage of the suspect Tuesday. In the clip, he appears to stick his head out of the driver’s side window to speak to someone in another vehicle. Another camera captures the flash as he fires his gun near a traffic light.

Police described him as a Black man between the ages of 40 and 45 with a bald head and full beard. He was driving a 2016 or 2017 silver Honda Civic with a white vanity tag on the front bumper, according to investigators. The front of the vehicle has body damage, and the front hub cap on the passenger’s side is missing, the PPD added.

No arrests were made as of Tuesday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Shooting Investigation Group at 215-686-8271 or call or text the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
