An arrest warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Nino DaSilvio, police said Friday. He is expected to be charged with aggravated assault and other crimes, according to the U.S. Marshals Service, which is participating in the investigation.

The USMS described DaSilvio as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 150 pounds. As of Sunday, he had not been taken into custody, a PPD spokesperson told Metro.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts or the shooting is asked to contact the police department’s Shooting Investigation Group at 215-686-8270 or call or text the tip line, 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Knives were pulled during an argument just before 4 a.m. July 5 outside the 7 Elements nightclub at 11th Street and Washington Avenue, investigators said. As security tried to intervene, shots were fired from the lounge’s balcony, according to police.

Five men and three women between the ages of 25 and 43 were struck as multiple individuals opened fire, authorities said at the time. All of the victims survived.

Police on July 11 arrested Michael Welton, 43, reportedly one of the establishment’s security guards. He has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related crimes, court records show.

Investigators last week distributed surveillance images of a third person allegedly involved in the shooting. The PPD described him as a Black man with a heavy build, full beard and arm tattoos who was wearing a large gold chain with a charm.

The incident was the first of two mass shootings occurring over a violent July 4 holiday weekend. Two days later, in the early morning hours of July 7, three people were killed and nine others were wounded in a shootout that disrupted a party in Grays Ferry. No arrests have been reported in that case.
