An early morning gun battle outside a Feltonville bar left at least one man injured Thursday.
The victim, a 22-year-old armed and uniformed security guard, was at a bar near Front Street and Wyoming Avenue, CBS3 Philly reported.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said the security guard heard shots fired outside the bar, stepped outside and returned fire around 2 a.m.
Still shooting, the suspect jumped in a car with two other men inside and fled. Police are now looking for all three.
In all, at least 27 bullets were fired at the scene.
The security guard was shot once in the leg, and was transported to Temple University Hospital. He’s in stable condition.
Police said the suspect’s getaway car, a Chevy Malibu, was ditched a few blocks away. The car was not stolen, and police are waiting to speak to the car’s owner.
