SEPTA free rides arrive later this weekend

SEPTA is already in the holiday spirit.

For Thanksgiving weekend, weekly and monthly TransPass and TrailPass holders can get a free ride for their traveling companions as part of the “Thanks+Giving” campaign. November pass holders will receive two coupons, which are good for one free round trip for a friend or family member between Nov. 24 and Nov. 27 when traveling with a pass-holder.

The coupons will be accepted on all SEPTA vehicles and customers can also request free transfers.

On Nov. 25, riders can also hop aboard SEPTA’s Santa Express for an 11 a.m. parade featuring Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at The Gallery at Market East. Those who ride on designated Santa Express trains will receive a free one-way trip to Center City thanks to Constellation Energy.
