SEPTA is providing free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line after the Eagles-Commanders NFC Championship Game on Sunday. The free rides home — from NRG Station only — begin at half time and run for three hours post-game.
SEPTA will have trains waiting for fans after the game, and trips will continue to operate frequently as crowds exit the sports complex.
“We are working to ensure that all customers, including the thousands of fans we will welcome on Sunday, enjoy service that is safe, clean, efficient and reliable,” said SEPTA Interim General Manager Scott Sauer in a statement. “SEPTA personnel will be dispatched across the system to assist riders, manage crowds and answer questions.”
In addition to the Broad Street Line’s regularly scheduled trains, that run every eight minutes or less, SEPTA will run multiple express trips before the game, which starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26. These extra trips will start at 10 a.m. from Fern Rock Station and will run every ten minutes until approximately 2:30 p.m.
