SEPTA says service changes ahead for Temple-Notre Dame match

It’s no papal visit, but there will be some changes to SEPTA’s service ahead of the Temple-Notre Dame game Saturday night.

The two schools are slated to go head-to-head at Lincoln Financial Field at 8 p.m., but a broadcast of ESPN’s CollegeGameDayat Independence Mall will also cause changes through the weekend.

Crews will be building sets near the site of the live broadcast beginning Thursday. That will mean detours of the 17, 33, 44, and 48 bus lines. If you need to get to Market Street between 5th and 8th between Thursday and Sunday, SEPTA directed riders to use the Market-Frankford line.
