Autistic man assaulted on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an assault of a man on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line.

A 25-year-old man was assaulted on on March 14 at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to Philadelphia authorities. The male suspect entered a northbound Broad Street Line train from City Hall Station.

The incident took place as the train was approaching Cecil B. Moore Station, where the suspect assaulted the victim, a 25-year-old man with autism, leaving the victim with injuries to his face. The suspect then fled from the station.

Anyone with information is asked to call SEPTA Transit Police at 215-580-8111.
