The Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office has launched a new webpage aimed at apprehending individuals with active arrest warrants.

An array of mugshots – accompanied by the suspect’s name and other information – is now available through the “Philly Fugitives” tab on the office’s website, phillysheriff.com.

Users can click under the photo to submit a tip on that person’s whereabouts or file a report on a wanted person not included in the lineup. Tipsters can remain anonymous or provide their contact information if they are willing to speak with authorities.

“It’s another tool to basically bring together law enforcement agencies to get those people who are wanted off the streets,” Sheriff Rochelle Bilal said at a news conference last week.

“The ideal part of this is to get everybody wanted off our streets,” she added. “But if we get one, it works.”

On Monday, 10 “top priority” fugitives facing charges ranging from murder to drug distribution were listed on the site.

Those wishing to provide information on a wanted individual can also call the Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit at 215-683-3726.
