Simply the best — Vote for your favorite Philly jawn

There are plenty of things that make Philadelphia fantastic.

The people, the history, the art, the food—definitely the food.

And here at Metro, we want to know: What are your favorite spots in Philly? Metro’s Philly’s Best contest is now accepting nominations and we want to know what you think is the best this city has to offer. From arts & entertainment to fashion to food—and about a dozen other categories—there are plenty of opportunities to show your favorite local businesses support and recognition.

Metro is calling all Philadelphians to shed a light on their favorite local hotspot—whether it be a bar, restaurant, hair salon or book store. If you love it, we want you to nominate it.

“Our small businesses need our support. Every little bit helps and Metro’s Philly’s Best is a fantastic and easy way to do so,” said Joshua Schneps, CEO and co-publisher of Schneps Media. “We want Philly residents to shine a light on locally owned businesses that deserve to be recognized for their excellence.

“Winning the Metro Philly Best of is a badge of honor these businesses can use to help spread the word about their business and hopefully get new business,” Schneps added. “So take a few moments and vote for the businesses you know are the best in a wide range of categories from restaurants to doctors to auto repair shops.”

The Philly’s Best contest hopes to be a roadmap of the absolute best, top-notch places in the city. So show your love, and help recognize the local establishments that make Phily so special.

It’s been a rough year—that much is obvious—but here’s an opportunity to give local businesses a much-deserved spotlight. Please join me in taking this opportunity to embrace all of the treasures—the people, the businesses and definitely the food—that makes Philly so perfect.
