Sixers break 100, beat Cavs

Another night, another Sixers win. Ho hum.

That’s right, the hometown hoopsters beat the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers 117-97 last night at the Wells Fargo Center, thanks to a season-high 26 points from Thaddeus Young. The forward made 11-of-12 shots from the field and also pulled down 11 rebounds.

The Sixers have now won four of their last five games. Up next is a home date with the defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics (tomorrow, 8 p.m.)

Lou Williams chipped in with 19 points, while Jodie Meeks (16), Jrue Holiday (16), Andre Iguodala (13) and Elton Brand (12) all reached double figures.
