Trick or treat, Sixers fans.
The team will open the 2012-13 season on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. against Denver. The Sixers are coming off their first winning campaign since 2004-05 after taking Boston to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Among the highlights are home dates against Oklahoma City (Nov. 24), Boston (Dec. 7), L.A. Lakers (Dec. 16) and two games vs. Miami (Feb. 23, March 13). The Sixers get 10 of their first 15 at the Wells Fargo Center, the most in that span since 1988-89.
The Sixers also announced special plans in celebration of the franchise’s 50th season in the City of Brotherly Love. The exact details will be announced at a later date. Season tickets and 10-game packages are available Friday at Sixers.com. Individual tickets go on sale in October.
