SkyLodge is back for season two!

Once again, Philly’s tallest beer garden, SkyGarten, will transform into SkyLodge for the fall and winter season, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Co-owner Mickey Rowley and business partner Doug Hager (Brauhaus Schmitz), “decked the halls” of SkyLodge with taxidermy, lots of plaid, toboggans and other key ski lodge elements.

“After such a successful run with SkyLodge last winter, we are stoked to bring it back along with our famous spiked hot chocolate bar,” says Rowley. “Guests can expect more surprises this year, like a talking deer head and GM Jeff Schroth in a full Pennsylvania Tuxedo. If you don’t know what it is, look it up!”

Guests can enjoy a shotski ($20), where four people can take a shot all at once on a ski. There will even be a roaring fireplace projected on a huge screen. Cozy up with your honey in the lounge area with rocking chairs, bean bags and a bear skin rug.

Getting hungry? Here is a look at the menu from Chef Mark Brinton:

Poutine Fries ($12), Mac & Cheese Balls ($8), Bourbon Buffalo Wings ($8/$14), BBQ Pork Sandwich ($9), Veggie Burger ($10), Bacon and Brie Burger ($12), Wurst Platter ($13) and Bavarian Bratwurst ($9).

Of course, no wintry night would be complete without hot chocolate and SkyLodge has a hot chocolate candy bar! Lead bartender Lead Bartender Jesse Cornell has even more fixings for your hot chocolate this year, including Dr. McGillicuddy’s Mentholmint, different flavored Baileys Irish Cream liqueurs, Buffalo Trace Cream, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, peppermint schnapps, and more. Guests can also top their hot chocolate with an array of candy, including chocolates, marshmallows, sprinkles, candy canes, whipped cream and syrups. Hot chocolates are $10 with alcohol or $5 without.
