The Slay the Vote rally took place this weekend at the Circus School in Mt Airy to help encourage voters to support Vice President Kamala Harris.
More than 100 content creators from Philadelphia and across the country enjoyed election-themed food, art murals, artistic activations, a drag show, musical performances — including a performance by Shanice, who plays Michelle Obama in the Obama musical ’44’ — and an appearance by ‘Black Panther’ actress, award-winning playwright and activist Danai Gurira.
