Sofitel Philadelphia returns with the most celebrated Drag Tea in Philadelphia on Saturday, June 22. Sofitel, famous for its classic afternoon tea service, will debut a new Drag Tea featuring Brittany Lynn’s Drag Mafia.
The June 22 event will be hosted by Connor Michalchuk — the area’s top “Bearlesque” artist, winning multiple burlesque titles from across the tristate area. Additional performers include Karen Vonsay, Athena Chanteuse and The Turnpyke.
Philadelphians can sip tea — or spill it — in the presence of fabulous Drag Queens, while enjoying delicious offerings from Sofitel’s award-winning culinary team. Come ready to be entertained as you enjoy classics like scones, tea sandwiches, pastries and Palais Des Thes (selection of nine different teas for you to choose) — plus your choice of a Champagne, Mimosa or Bellini.
Drag Tea runs from 2 to 4 p.m. inside Chez Colette Brasserie.
Tickets are $65 per person for standard Drag Tea service, or $75 with bottomless Champagne, Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Five dollars from each purchase will be donated to the Mazzoni Center—a health and wellness center serving the Philadelphia LGBTQ+ community for more than 40 years.
