According to a release, those looking to feel lucky on March 17 can head to Downtown Ardmore and celebrate with Irish fare, themed cocktails, Irish music and dance performances. John Henry’s out on the Main Line will be serving up specials like corned beef cabbage, potato soup, shepherd’s pie, traditional fish and chips and Irish soda bread, plus Irish beers on draft and a special themed cocktail menu. Open from 1 p.m. to midnight, the event will also feature Irish music all day, plus dance performances at 5:30 and 7 p.m. from the McDade Cara School of Irish Dance.

Art in the Age’s Cocktail Workshop

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Art in the Age has decided to do what they do best—make some cocktails. AITA’s A Very St. Paddy’s Day Cocktail Workshop’s tickets ($45) include access to hands-on instruction on creating two custom cocktails, both highlighting Guinness as a key ingredient. A same-day 10% discount for retail purchases is also included in admission.

Wine Dive and Sonny’s Cocktail Joint

The side-by-side establishments have their own vibes, but they both come from Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico, who also happen to own Hawthorne’s Beer Cafe in South Philly. To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Philadelphia, the two establishments will be offering $6 Guinness pours, $6 shots of Jameson or Tully’s and some Irish eats to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. At Sonny’s the back patio will be open and at Wine Dive, the streetery will also be open to help Philadelphians get into the spirit.

Patchwork Restaurant’s Irish Brunch

Last weekend, one of Philly’s latest hotspots, Patchwork, launched its Irish-themed brunch—and it will be available at the new eatery until this Thursday. Located inside the recently launched Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia hotel, Patchwork is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Philadelphia with a traditional Irish breakfast. That includes a hearty breakfast platter built with eggs, chicken sausage, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, served with a side Irish soda bread, and Guinness Braised Short Ribs, slowly cooked and accompanied by Irish grits and braised cabbage, priced at $26. The Patchwork bar will also be serving $16 Patchwork Paddy Irish Coffee cocktails all day to celebrate the holiday.

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Philadelphia, Tradesman’s will open early at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 17 for a double luck of the Irish with March Madness and St. Patrick’s Day specials. Philadelphians who head to the Center City establishment can enjoy $13 Sheet Nachos, $20 buckets of Founders Solid Gold Premium Lager (5), plus the return of green glitter beer, and you can add edible glitter to any drink additionally for a $1 more. Guests can also enjoy 16 ounces of light beer from selections on draft, plus an assortment of cocktails such as the Irish Mule $11, Old Irishman $10 and Real Good Morning $10. Banger’s & Mash will also be available on the menu.
