To honor those who have impacted the LGBTQ+ community, Philadelphia Gay News in tandem with presenting sponsor Visit Philadelphia and Live Casino hosted the Stonewall Awards Brunch on Sunday, June 4, at the Arts Ballroom in Center City.
The event was hosted by 6ABC meteorologist Adam Joseph, who was honored with the Equality Media Award. Awardees include David Fair (Legacy Award), LGBTQ ally Gov. Josh Shapiro, Carson Kressley (Visibility Award), Estelle Richman (Lifetime Achievement Award), and Galaei (Community Unity Award).
Cherelle Parker took to the stage to thank the LGBTQ community for their support and welcomed other political allies on stage including actress Sheryl Lee Ralph from Abbott Elementary, who last year was honored with the Ally Award.
