A 10-year-old was shot in Tacony this evening.The child, a white male, was hit in the back of the leg at Unruh Avenue and Marsden Street at 8:15 p.m. and taken to St. Christopher's Hospital in stable condition.A police spokeswoman said the exact circumstances of the shooting were still unclear, but that the boy was not the intended target.Authorities are looking for a five-foot-eight black male wearing a black hat, gray hoodie and jeans armed with a 9mm handgun.No arrests have yet been made.
