Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and a dominating defense walked out of Arrowhead Stadium with a 20–17 win, and a statement. This wasn’t a track meet or a fluke. It was a methodical, physical takeover that stretched Philadelphia’s record to 18–1 in its last 19 games and handed Patrick Mahomes the first three-game skid of his career.
Here is how the Eagles did it.
Birds By The Numbers
1 — Total turnovers forced by the Eagles, but it was the one that swung everything. Rookie safety Andrew Mukuba snatched a goalline interception to seal the upset.
2- Pass defenses for Jordan Davis, who would have thought that? He is getting through with interior pressure, blowing up the pocket, and getting his arms up.
3- losses in a row for Patrick Mahomes for the first time in his career. Also, in three straight games, the Eagles, led by Jalen Hurts, have beaten the Chiefs.
4- Eagles defenders who played every defensive snap on a night when the unit carried the load from wire to wire. Reed Blankenship, Zack Baun, Cooper DeJean, and Quinyon Mitchell were the iron men of the night.
5 — Consecutive road wins over AFC opponents, the longest such streak for the franchise since the early 2000s.
6 — Third-down stops by the defense (Kansas City finished 3-for-9), the quiet key to holding Patrick Mahomes to 17 points at Arrowhead.
7 — The combined number of sacks, tackles (one a TFL), and QB hits Moro Ojomo has so far this season. Ojomo leads the team in QB pressures with eight.
8- Tackles for Cooper DeJean, which led the team. He remains the chess piece that is moved all over the field, making big stops.
9- Rushing first-downs for the Eagles. Moving the chains and winning the time of possession battle.
10- The number of drives the Eagles had against the Chiefs. They scored on 4 of them.

10A- The number of QB hits the defense had on Pat Mahomes.
11- The number of times the Eagles blitzed in this game, compared to zero 7 months ago in the Super Bowl.
18–1 — Philadelphia’s record in its last 19 games, a staggering run of consistency under Nick Sirianni.
20 — Total points scored. Every one of them was hard-earned.
41- Yards that Mukuba returned the game-changing goal-line interception.
51 and 58 —Both of Jake Elliott’s field goal distances were drilled through the Kansas City wind like a practice kick.
54.8- yards per punt that Braden Mann averaged, including a 70-yarder.
64- The percentage that the Chiefs blitzed Jalen Hurts (16 of his 25 dropbacks), which is their highest blitz rate under DC Steve Spagnuolo since he became their Defensive Coorindator.
78.6- The pass rating Jalen Hurts had against the blitz. He was 9 of 14. The poison pill of the Eagles is no longer a fatal flaw. Conversely, Patrick Mahomes had a 5.0 rating, going 3 of 10 with an interception.
88- yards that 2KSA grinding out on 22 carries, including a 13-yard TD.
