This isn’t a mock draft, a ranking, or a needs list; it’s 25 players I believe make sense for the Eagles when talent, fit, and philosophy collide.
Some names are obvious, some might surprise you, but they check a lot of boxes that the Eagles have consistently valued on draft weekend.
If you are building your draft board based on CB play via the film, elite traits, and advanced technique, then he is in the conversation for CB1, and no lower than second. He is violent through contact and a competitor in every sense of the word. A scrapper who refuses to back down. In short, if you want a Dawg at the corner, and Philly always welcomes more Dawgs, then McCoy is the one you want.
Delane is the best CB in the draft. If the Eagles want a No Fly Zone for the next five years, pair him with Quinyon outside and leave Coop in the slot, and add another shutdown CB. This would require a big play to move up.
Colton Hood has the instincts, is fearless, uber-competitive, fluid hips (a must at CB), burst, and above-average recovery speed. He could be available when Philly picks, and they should be interested.
He is another “Philly Fit” with fluid hips, strong ball skills, and physicality. His ability to match up against multiple receiver types complements the Fango defensive scheme that thrives on versatility and disguise.
Muhammad is twitchy, has a quick trigger, and hips to mirror receivers tightly. Thrives in zone, making him a natural Philly fit. Toolsy, physical & instinctive. He’s a great interview & should develop into a disruptive playmaking corner.
He is a highly physical corner, an excellent run defender, and may fall in the range that Howie is comfortable selecting another CB.
I don’t care where mock sims place Max; I believe he’s a top-75 talent & a Philly fit. Max is a big-framed, powerful tackle who has yet to reach his ceiling. His development would allow him to be a swing tackle early, with starter upside in the near future. He may be available on day two, but he exudes day one traits. If Lane returns, he will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best to ever do it while also serving as a capable backup if needed.
Miller brings toughness, versatility & athleticism. His technique suits the Eagles’ preference for aggressive, mauling linemen who can sustain blocks in both run and pass sets.
Keylan Rutledge is strong, hard to move, sound, and displays a strong anchor and mauler. Could increase his stock at the Senior Bowl. 6'4 320, will be fun to watch in Mobile.
He exudes intelligence and technical consistency, which are ideal for Philly. He displays elite awareness and brings a blue-collar identity that the Eagles demand from interior linemen.
Warren is physical, aggressive, plays in the box, has excellent range, is a playmaker & a tone setter. His size, physicality, instincts, attitude, and versatility could make him a top-50 selection.
Cashius Howell has an elite first step, bend, active hands, and stays active vs. the run. Howell's fit is rooted in his hybrid ability at edge/lb and high sack and pressure totals. He is relentless in pursuit.
Kamara is the type of DE that the Eagles like. He is disciplined against the run and attacks with a plan, setting up OLs with counters. Perfect fit for a team that values rotation rooted in pressure. His twitchy, electric hand-fighting style will fit right in. Displays a good dip and plays with a motor that’s been bored out to be even more relentless. Gearheads get the reference.
He has speed, bend, and is wired to never slow down. Joshua sets the edge against the run and attacks creatively from multiple angles in passing situations.
Moore has an explosive first step and athleticism, making him a high-upside pass-rushing threat. Aggressive + physical + high-energy = Philly Fit. His 15.5% pressure rate 10.4% run block rate make him an intriguing fit for the Birds.
Stowers is versatile and can line up anywhere. Eli blocks well enough to sell it in the run game, but he will improve with coaching and playing for an offense that demands it. A natural chain-mover, serious YAC threat, former QB with a high football IQ, a separator who finds soft spots in coverage, and turns them into first downs. His receiving ability adds an unpredictable dynamic to an offense, something they could use.
The Houston product has a ridiculously wide catch radius, strong hands, tracks the ball well, is a RZ dominator, blocks, owns contested catches, and due to those traits, a 3rd round selection is not out of the question. Ignore the 6th and 7th-grade mock sims; this guy can play.
Delp is assignment-sound, pro-style run game proven, and blocks with technique, not mass. The Eagles need two tight ends; he would raise the floor at the position and give Philly an ascending talent who was not utilized to his full potential in college.
Jack Endries could block for an NFL team tomorrow; his Philly fit is obvious. Dirty work in the run game brings a lot of value.
Trotter is so good. Would the Eagles select another LB high? I don’t know, but the lineage continues to impress. Philly fit equals bloodlines and destiny. The traits are abundant.
He is a leverage monster and a rotational fit next to Carter. He has violent hands and a powerful lower body. Philly fit is an athlete that the team historically builds around. Dontay has a low center of gravity, is a consistent pocket-collapsing force, has an elite understanding of leverage, and has advanced hand combat.
Branch is a dynamic route runner, separator, YAC threat in RPOs, and a motion weapon, which they lack.
KC would give the Eagles a dynamic chess-piece weapon who can win inside, stress defenses, create separation, build confidence, and make great plays with the ball in his hands & on the ground. Howie said they want playmakers; he is one.
If the Eagles want to continue red zone dominance, Bryce is a red zone monster! Philly Fits: Ball skills, athleticism, smooth release, vertical threat, deep ball tracker, snatches 50–50 balls, YAC, and ball skills.
The Indiana wideout shows off crisp route-running, quickness in short areas, and reliable hands, making him a fit for the Eagles. Cooper is a vertical threat, has elite balance, excels in short-yardage situations, and dominates as a slot receiver. He would complement the outside wideouts.
As always, thank you for reading!
