Three people were killed in separate incidents over a three-and-a-half-hour period Sunday night, capping a violent day in Philadelphia.

Investigators said a couple in their 60s were shot just after 11:45 p.m. on the 2800 block of N. 24th Street in North Philadelphia. Officers who responded to the shooting found them on the porch of a home.

Michelle Wilson, 61, was rushed to Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds to her neck and back, according to police. She died a short time later. The other victim, a 67-year-old man, was shot in the buttocks and is expected to survive, law enforcement officials said.

Earlier, just after 9 p.m., DaJuan Coffee, 26, was gunned down on the 2000 block of E. Lehigh Avenue in Kensington, police said. PPD commanders at the scene told television crews that a pair of gunmen chased down Coffee outside an apartment building.

In Hunting Park, someone stabbed a 35-year-old man to death at around 8:20 p.m. Sunday on the 500 block of W. Courtland Street, authorities said. The violence may have happened in the parking lot of a dollar store, according to multiple media reports. Police have not publicly identified the victim.

A man — identified Monday as 30-year-old Rafi Colón-White — was killed and five other people were injured in a series of shootings earlier in the day.

No arrests have been reported in connection with any of the killings. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the PPD’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Overall, there have been 108 homicides this year in Philadelphia, a decrease of 21% compared to the same date in 2025, according to police data. The number of shooting victims is also down 35%.
