The Philadelphia Eagles will kickoff their 2025 season against the Dallas Cowboys in just a few days time, and while all eyes are on the many stars of this team, there are plenty of young and hungry players who could do more than turn heard this year.
5 Eagles underdogs on the cusp of breaking out
Jalyx Hunt
A small-school sleeper who many questioned when first drafted by the Eagles, Hunt soon proved people wrong when afforded an opportunity. Following Bryce Huff's injury, Hux was thrust into a more prominent role and never looked back.
His versatility and freakish athleticism making a threat with both a hand in the dirt and in coverage, giving him a lot of upside under Vic Fangio. The EDGE spot is now light on depth, but with Hunt positioned above proven vets such as Azeez Ojulari, it speaks volumes about the trust that the coaching staff has i the second-year player. If he sees the same snap share he received towards the end of last season, but now extended for a full campaign, he could easily be among Philly's most productive players. If that snap-share flies past that mark (as it should), look out.
Moro Ojomo
As our man David Neisz said this morning, Moro Ojomo is one of the Eagles' best-kept secrets. Someone who has quietly worked his way up the depth chart and now finds himself replacing Milton Williams, a player many deemed as pivotal during last years' Super Bowl run.
Ojomo plays with a nasty streak, but at just 24-years-old, shows maturity beyond his years when it comes to technique. He's the perfect candidate to fill in for Jalen Carter against a gassed offensive line, to wreck some havoc on the interior and maintain that level of intensity, which could result in some marquee plays.

Kelee Ringo
Ringo is now entering year #3, and year #2 under Eagles DC Vic Fangio. He was favored to win the CB2 role and we still don't really know if anybody 'won' what became a triple-threat. With that said, Ringo's frame and twitchiness make him a stunning player to watch. It's rare to see a player with his range and short-range quickness, which allows him to stay in the hip pocket of opposing wideouts even if he's lost the route.
It might not happen instantly, but if Ringo can make his mark on that CB2 role, it shouldn't take long for him to build confidence and continue to blossom into starter-worthy corner who has plenty of unmatched potential.
Tyler Steen
It's been a bumpier road than many expected for Tyler Steen, but he's finally claimed that starting RG spot. What he does with the opportunity, is now down to him. But Steen enjoyed a strong preseason where he fended off some veteran competition, and you can make the argument that another year away from the spotlight and under the tutelage of Jeff Stoutland has him fundamentally far better prepared for the starting role than if he got it last year. This could be Tyler Steen's real arrival, and a following ascension might not be far behind.
Ty Robinson (R)
The Eagles love a 4-man DT rotation, and rookie Ty Robinson figures to be Ojomo's running-mate in 2025. He's an absolute beast on tape and every bit of his 9.89 RAS shows when looking at his Nebraska footage. If Ojomo has the IQ and the nastiness to get home and maintain gap-leverage, Robinson has the 'Bull in a China shop' mentality to make the most of the remaining chaos.
