Waking up Monday morning, many are perhaps still trying to comprehend the emotional rollercoaster they were on watching the 33-26 Philadelphia Eagles' improbable win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. A game that will be known as the "Jordan Davis Game" will go down as one of the all-time regular season wins in franchise history.
Here are five takeaways from the stunning win:
Jordan Davis' new look physique paying dividends

Jordan Davis showed some flashes in his first three seasons in the league, but it seemed like the 13th overall pick in 2022 was not on track to justify his high draft price tag as just a run stopper in the middle of the defensive line. This season, the 25-year-old has been a revelation for the defense due in large part to his offseason workouts where the defensive tackle credited his Peloton bike workouts in the offseason for losing 26 pounds this offseason.
With his improved physique, Davis has been a game wrecker through the first three weeks, making his biggest impact on Sunday with the game-sealing blocked field goal that he returned 61-yards running at 18.59 mph, the fastest speed by a player over 330 pounds since at least 2017 per Next Gen Stats to put an exclamation point on the game. He finished with five tackles and a sack.

On the season, Davis has 16 total tackles with one sack and is the only defensive tackle in the NFL with three passes defensed this season. He has also played 69.5% of the defensive snaps and has been the early MVP of the defensive unit so far through three weeks.
Aggressive offense is key to this team's success

"We've got to come out aggressive and play our game. You saw our game in the second half," Jalen Hurts told Pam Oliver postgame on FOX.
That aggressiveness and style of play was not on display until the team was down three scores.
Kevin Patullo and the offense were forced to open up the playbook and dial up down the field shots to ignite the offense after putting together one of the worst first half performances in team history. After capitalizing on an early Zack Baun interception to turn the short field in the touchdown to take a 7-0 lead, the offense was beyond abysmal. The unit had four consecutive three-and-outs and had -9 yards across those four possessions.
The team had -1 pass yard and looked like they were going to get embarrassed at home. After a strip sack to set up an easy 10-yard score for the Rams to take a 26-7 lead in the third, Hurts and the offense orchestrated one of the most impressive comebacks in franchise history due in part to that aggressiveness Hurts alluded to allowing their talented playmakers to make big plays.

In the second half, Hurts accounted for 221 total yards and three passing touchdowns to lead the league. Per Next Gen Stats, Hurts completed seven of his nine passes of 10+ air yards in the second half for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

When A.J. Brown gets the ball good things happen

This is stating the obvious. However, it was not looking like this was going to be the game the star wideout would get going. Brown did not have a catch in the first half and the storyline of him not being involved was getting louder. Then, the second half happened.
Brown delivered with a handful of clutch catches and finished the game with six receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown.

In the locker room after the game, Brown, who always has to be cautious on how he phrases his answers regarding the passing game, was respectively blunt when asked what changed in the second half for the offense.
"We got so many good players on this team and at times you can feel like we're being conservative and I don't think it should be like that. Let your killers do their thing."

"I don't mean this in a negative way, but I just got the ball. I think it's that simple," Brown told Zach Berman of The Athletic.
Brown is not wrong in that regard. He is a difference maker. The Eagles are now 15-3 when he has over 100 yards receiving in a game.
Fred Johnson quietly saved the game for Eagles

Lane Johnson missed the majority of the game with a neck injury and the Rams took full advantage of it when they put in backup right tackle Matt Pryor. Pryor struggled mightily in his five drives on the field and the Eagles' offense had this to show for it:
Four three-and-outs, a fumble and -10 net yards.
The coaching staff made the switch to Fred Johnson despite not taking any reps at practice at right tackle, instead being prepped to be a backup at left tackle. Johnson did not waver and solidified the right side of the leaky offensive line after Johnson's departure.
In the four drives Johnson was in at right tackle, the Eagles were a much different looking offense.
Three touchdowns and 260 net yards.
"I give credit all my credit to God, my coaches and teammates for believing in me. Obviously, I wouldn't be back in this position for no reason. I feel like all my job was to go out there and execute the best the way I can. We got the win and that's all that matters," Johnson told Philly Sports Network's David Neisz.
All the Eagles do is win with Jalen Hurts at quarterback

It has been a quite some time since the Eagles and their fan bases has tasted defeat. They stared at potential loss on Sunday, at one point looking at a win probability as low as 8.6% after going down 26-7 in the third quarter. Yet, the Eagles miraculously turned it into a win. With the victory, Philadelphia is currently 19-1 over their last 20 games and when Hurts starts and finishes a game, they are flawless.

The Eagles are just one of six remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL along with Buffalo, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Los Angeles Chargers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their next opponent in Week 4.
Hurts always says it does not matter how it looks, the most important goal for the team is to win football games. QB1 has done a whole lot of winning to back up that mindset.
