Philadelphia 76ers two-way signee MarJon Beauchamp has secured his first piece of hardware since signing a two-way deal with the Sixers in late December. Beauchamp was named the NBA G League Player of the Week today after a week of phenomenal play with the Delaware Blue Coats.

In this week, spanning from Feb. 23 to March 1, Beauchamp led the Blue Coats to a 2-0 record while averaging 32.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists while shooting 61.9% from the field and 44.4% from beyond the arc. Beauchamp was especially impressive on Saturday, Feb. 28, where he exploded for 40 points and 6 assists in just 25 minutes of action. This was his G League career high, breaking his previous personal record of 36 in early 2024.

Beauchamp has appeared in 19 games for the Delaware Blue Coats' regular season so far, according to the G League's website. In those 19 games, Beauchamp currently ranks as the fifth leading scorer league-wide, averaging 25.2 points a night. On top of that, Beauchamp is also averaging 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Initially selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft. Beauchamp spent just over two seasons with the team before playing for the Clippers and the Knicks last season. This season, Beauchamp has appeared in two games, averaging 9.0 points and shooting a combined 3-7 from beyond the arc.
