The Delaware Blue Coats will be well represented at the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend as MarJon Beauchamp and Kennedy Chandler have been selected to play in the NBA G League Next Up Game, joining Sixers' star, Tyrese Maxey and rookie VJ Edgecombe in Los Angeles for the league-wide festivities.
The Blue Coats, amid a slew of injuries and roster turnover, are 8-8 through the G League regular season with 20 games left to play. Beauchamp and Chandler have been mainstays on the roster, each missing just one game to this point, helping keep the team afloat in head coach JP Clark's first year at the helm.
MarJon Beauchamp is averaging 24.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game during the regular season while also proving to be a solid and willing defender. There is a chance Sixers fans could see him in game action on the main roster in the next couple of months.
Kennedy Chandler is averaging 15.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 10.5 assists per game and has already been awarded a G League Player of the Week honor. He has been one of the G League's best facilitators and pace-setters.
