The Philadelphia Eagles have signed punter Braden Mann to a four-year extension worth $14M, with $7M guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Mann has spent three seasons with the Eagles and was a key cog in the teams' Super Bowl run. In 2025, he registered a career-best 49.9 yard punting average, ranking 6th in the NFL. His longest punt of the season, a 70-yarder, ranked 9th.
The Eagles have long prioritized special teams, and struggled to find the same efficiency that Cameron Johnston once provided. Mann replaced Arryn Siposs and the team never really looked back.
While this can be seen as an under-the-radar move, that's a big sum of money and makes Mann one of the highest-paid punters in the NFL.
Philly is far from done in free agency. While the rumor mill keeps spinning, some general housekeeping can often be brushed off, but finding stability in special teams and keeping the core of both Mann and Elliott is a smart and important call from Howie Roseman.
