How the Flyers look heading into the new season

Danny Briere spoke to the media prior to the start of training camp on Thursday. Briere addressed injury updates:

Rasmus Ristolainen should be good to go within the next month.

Tyson Foerster should be good to go as well, but the trainers are just being cautious with him and want him to go through the process.

Jett Luchanko will be good to go as a full participant at the start of training camp on Thursday. (Jett wasn't participating during rookie camp.)

Oliver Bonk — upper-body injury popped up. He was getting images today, and now they're waiting for results.

Briere is excited about the younger talent on the team and believes that there are going to be internal battles for responsibility. Briere stated that’s how Farabee, Frost, and Laughton lost responsibility due to the younger players stepping up.

Briere wants to see if Trevor Zegras will play the way he did a few seasons back and believes that Cam York and Jamie Drysdale will play the way they did a few seasons ago as well.

Briere stated that even if the team isn’t going to make the playoffs, the Flyers are not looking to sell. The team is moving away from wanting draft picks to wanting prospects who are nearly developed.

Carter Hart clarity

When it comes to Carter Hart, Briere stated that a representative reached out and said it would be better for Hart to get a fresh start.

Training camp starts Thursday. The full roster minus Zamula is below.
