Banner unveiling
The Eagles will be dropping the banner before kickoff Thursday night to commemorate their Super Bowl LIX victory. Fans are being asked to be in their seats by 7:45 p.m. for the festivities. Nick Sirianni said Tuesday that the team will not be out on the field during the banner dropping.
Jalen Hurts vs. Dak Prescott
The two quarterbacks had polar opposite seasons in 2024. Hurts, went on to lead the Eagles to their second Super Bowl victory all while winning Super Bowl MVP. Meanwhile, Prescott, fresh off a huge $240-million extension suffered a season-ending hamstring injury after eight games. Both quarterbacks will look to lead what should be two of the higher scoring offenses in the NFC this season with Thursday night marking the first time since 2023 the two QBs will face off against one another.
First look at a Micah Parson-less Cowboys defense
Jerry Jones loves to ensure that he and his beloved Cowboys are in the national headlines whether it's good, bad or indifferent. That did not change last week when the longtime owner went from trying to negotiate with star pass rusher Micah Parsons to open to listening to offers to trading the All-Pro shortly after it was publicly reported they were entertaining teams.

Jones sent Parsons to Green Bay in exchange for a pair of first round picks and run stopping defensive tackle Frank Clark. The Cowboys who were atrocious stopping the run last season, will rely on Clark to clog up the middle against the Eagles offensive line and the Cowboys.
However, the Eagles faced off against Clark when he was anchoring the defensive line for Green Bay last year in the season opener in Brazil and Saquon Barkley ran for 109 yards and two scores while averaging 4.5 yards per carry in the 34-29 win.
