On May 14th, 2026, over 450 people unmasked their legacies at Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia’s annual Coach’s Private Reserve Dinner, honoring Danielle Sadock and the Sadock Family Foundation. Sadock’s announcement of a $5 million gift over the next 5 years, to invest in improved facilities and educational programming for Boys & Girls Club kids, served as a pinnacle for an event that had already raised over $3.1 million to support youth programming across the city.
The Sadock Family Foundation’s $5 million gift builds on their legacy and ongoing commitment to youth, which began with a $250,000 scholarship fund, named in memory of Danielle’s late husband, David Sadock, to support Boys & Girls Club members pursuing STEM-based higher education opportunities. With her pledge of $5 million, Danielle and the Sadock Family Foundation will offer hope and opportunity to generations of Philadelphia’s young people.
Legendary NFL Hall of Fame coach Dick Vermeil also participated in the evening’s festivities, joining donors, sponsors and community leaders in support of the organization’s mission.
Attendees were treated to a four-course dinner paired with selections from Vermeil Wines and cheeses from BelGioioso Cheese.
“As I reflect on this journey, I am reminded of a belief that continues to guide me: Giving is Living,” Danielle Sadock, president of the Sadock Family Foundation, said. “And if we are truly living, then we must commit to keeping on living our best life — not just for ourselves, but in service to others, with compassion, purpose and heart.”
Sadock added that her “heart remains with the children of Philadelphia,” and said she is grateful “for the privilege of walking alongside them, learning from them, and supporting them in any way I can.”
Lisabeth Marziello, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, praised Sadock during the event.
“Tonight is not simply an event — it is a tribute,” Marziello said. “A tribute to a woman whose presence, passion and purpose have left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege to know her — Danielle Sadock.”
John M. Scheffey, Board Chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, also thanked supporters for backing the organization’s work.
“Some child tonight is counting on a place like the Boys & Girls Clubs to feel safe … to feel seen … to feel like they matter,” Scheffey said. “Standing with them isn’t just something we say — it’s something we do.”
