Posted

Delaware Blue Coats guard Kennedy Chandler has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games taking place between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30, putting up averages of 25.0 points and 12.3 assists per game. Chandler posted three straight double-doubles to help the Blue Coats amass a 2-1 record for the week after they had lost four of their first five games of the Tip-Off Tournament portion of the schedule.

On the road against the Westchester Knicks, Chandler poured in 22 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds. Then, in two home games versus the College Park Skyhawks, Chandler totaled  52 points, 24 assists, and nine rebounds.

This is Chandler's fourth G League team in as many seasons. He is comfortable, confident, and conducting himself like one of the best players in the "G". The former second-round pick is averaging 21.8 points and 10.1 assists per game on the young season, and the Blue Coats need him to continue his stellar play if they want to make some noise when the regular season rolls around in a few weeks.
