The design for a memorial garden to the victims of the June 5, 2013 building collapse at 22nd and Market streets was approved by the Art Commission at a meeting on Wednesday."The commission gave final approval to the park and memorial design," said a spokesman for the 22nd and Market Memorial.The commission did ask for adjustments so more people can stand near the memorial at one time, they said.The memorial fund has raised $600,000 of its $1.3 million goal.Six people lost their lives and 14 were hurt in the collapse.Visit pennhort.org/memorial for more information.
