Throughout the week there have been leaks and confirmations of games and dates for the upcoming NFL season. The opponents have been set for months. The full 272-game NFL schedule will be revealed Thursday night on NFL Network at 8 p.m. ET, but there have been a handful of games confirmed for the Philadelphia Eagles already.
Games that have been confirmed for the Eagles
Ratings are king, especially for the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles helps drive up the numbers. The Eagles have eight confirmed primetime or stand alone games that have been announced and confirmed.
Week 1: vs. Washington Commanders, Sunday, September 13, 4:25 p.m.
This was a likely scenario for the season opener for the Eagles. An early NFC East battle against the Commanders makes a ton of sense. Also, the Eagles have only opened the regular season at home once in the last five seasons with their home matchup against Dallas last year.
Week 2: at Tennessee Titans, Sunday, September 20 , 1 p.m.
The Eagles embark to the Music City for the first time since 2018. Brian Daboll, who seemed to be a favorite to land the offensive coordinator job with the Eagles, opted to join Robert Saleh to work with last year's top pick in quarterback Cam Ward and a young and improving Titans' offense.
Week 3: at Chicago Bears (MNF) , Monday, September 28, 8:15 p.m.
The Eagles and Bears collide for a second straight season after the Bears dominated the Eagles in Philadelphia alst season. Philadelphia will make what could be its final trip to historic Soldier Field and the first time since the 2022. The Eagles have had great success at Soldier Field, not losing there since 2010.
Week 4: vs. Los Angeles Rams, Sunday, October 4 , 1:00 p.m.
Make it another consecutive year these two teams meet It has become somewhat of a rivalry with how close and phsycial the previous meetings have been. Of course last season, the Rams almost embarassed the Eagles in Philly leading 26-7 in the third quarter before the Eagles ferociously stormed back scoring 26 unanswered points highlighted by Jordan Davis' 61-yard blocked field goal return for a touchdown.
Week 5: at Jacksonville Jaguars (London) Sunday, October 11 , 9:30 a.m.
The trip to London marks the second time in team history the Eagles will fly across the pond to play the Jaguars again like they did in 2018. Philadelphia will be the road team as the two teams start off the day with a morning kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Week 6: vs. Carolina Panthers, Sunday, October 18, 1:00 p.m.
The Eagles do not get any rest after the flight home from London and will take on the Panthers who will be coming off their bye in this one. Could be a tougher game than it looks on paper for the Eagles.
Week 7: vs. Dallas Cowboys (MNF), Monday, October 26, 8:15 p.m.
Another primetime game for the Eagles in 2026. This will be the first of the two regular season meetings between the rivals being played in primetime.
Week 8: at Washington Commanders (SNF) Sunday, November 1, 8:20 p.m.
In what many thought would be two epic battles last season for the NFC East, Washington sputtered due to injuries and aging players never becoming a threat to the Eagles.
With a healthy a Jayden Daniels, the matchup between the young dual-threat quarterback and Jalen Hurts will be must-see TV for this primetime matchup.
Week 9: vs. New York Giants, Sunday, November 8, 1 p.m.
Make it back-to-back NFC East division games for the Eagles when they take on a Giants team led by John Harbaugh and Jaxson Dart.
Week 10: vs. BYE
This isn't a terrible spot for the BYE week to take place for the Eagles. Yes, they will have to play four straight weeks after the London game, but after their long flight from across the pond, the Eagles won't need to be on a plane for 44 days during this stretch which includes the off week.
Week 11: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, Sunday, Novemeber 22, 4:25 p.m.
The battle for Pennsylvania renews after the two teams played in Philadelphia back in 2024. Will Aaron Rodgers be the starting quarterback for the Steelers?
Week 12: at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving) , Thursday, November 26, 4:30 p.m.
The Eagles will be back on your televisions on Thanksgiving Day for the first time since 2015 bringing their impressive 6-1 all-time record with them when playing on the holiday. Last year, the Eagles hosted the Bears on Black Friday and had the holiday off.
Week 13: at Arizona Cardinals, Decemeber 6, 4:05 p.m.
One of two trips out West for the Eagles this season. The Eagles face Arizona for the first time since New Year's Eve of 2023 where they suffered an embarassing 35-31 home loss as part of the season-ending collapse.
Week 14: vs. Indianapolis Colts, December 13, 1:00 p.m.
The start of a three-game home stretch for the Eagles and perhaps the easiest of the the three home games during the stretch.
Week 15: vs. Seattle Seahawks, Saturday, December 19, 5:00 p.m.
The Eagles will host the defending Super Bowl champions late in the season, setting up what could be a massive game with NFC playoff seeding implications.
Week 16: vs. Houston Texans, (Christmas Eve), Thursday, December 24, 8:15 p.m.
Another holiday game for the Eagles when they welcome in AFC South foe into town the day before Santa Clause visits the City of Brotherly Love.
Week 17: at San Francisco 49ers, (SNF), Sunday, January 3, 8:20 p.m.
It is clear, the NFL wants the Eagles on national television as often as possible. This marks the seventh primetime or stand alone game on the 2026 schedule.
Week 18: at New York Giants, TBD
Philadelphia's schedule is littered with prime time and stand alone games with eight confirmed. Last season, the Eagles had six primetime or stand alone games.
Strength of Schedule
The complete order of when the games will be played is to be determined, but the Eagles have the 10th-easiest schedule in terms of winning percentage by their opponents from last season (.481)
The only other NFC teams who have easier schedules in that regard are the Lions, Falcons and Saints.
In the NFC East, the Eagles have the easiest strength of schedule with the Cowboys at 13th (.493), the Giants at 16th (.498) and the Commanders at 17th (.502)
The Eagles look to win the NFC East crown for a third straight year, becoming the first team to do so since they won four straight division titles from 2001-2004.
