The 25-year old has been with Rams since going undrafted in 2012 and has been a starter for the last three years, amassing 48 straight starts. During that time, the 5"11 Safety has accumulated 18 pass deflections, five interceptions and seven forced fumbles.
Rodney picked up a career high in season tackles last season with 82, only 23 of them were assisted, highlighting his physicality. (We will touch on how that screams perfect match in Philadelphia in an article later)
According to Pro Football Focus, he actually graded higher last season than both of his teammates Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson with an 83.9 rating.
McLeod is a very physical Safety and fits what Jim Schwartz is looking for in a partner alongside Malcolm Jenkins perfectly. This is a great move for the Eagles.
