Report: Eagles sign former Colts Pro Bowl CB Kenny Moore

The former Colts Pro Bowler joins the Philadelphia practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing in some defensive reinforcements in the way of Kenny Moore, according to Tyler Brooke.

The 31-year-old joins Philly's practice squad (according to E.J Smith) and brings a wealth of experience to the team, including Pro Bowl honors.

It's not yet known whether or not Moore will be promoted to the 53-man roster, or even in what capacity. He could line up in the nickel, affording Cooper DeJean more flexibility to get some work in at Safety, or could simply be a safety net in the event of an injury to a starting CB. Although his 5'9 frame and career experience playing inside likely forecast a role in the slot.

Moore has 132 appearances under his belt since catching on with the Colts as a UDFA in 2017. Over his lengthy career, he's notched 21 interceptions, 68 pass breakups, 649 tackles and 11.5 sacks.

He most recently played for the Colts in 2025, starting 7 games and amassing 6 PBU's, 3 TFL, 1.6 sacks, and an interception. PFF had him graded as their 37th-best cornerback, so not starter worthy, but definitely among the premier backup otpions available.

This a low-risk move for the Eagles which fortifies their secondary with optionality. Whether it's some extra help over the top directly, or indirectly, Moore's presence could open things up for Fangio's defense while also bringing veteran leadership and years of starting experience.
